Good luck sending out any “good morning” texts.
A massive Verizon Wireless texting outage is affecting "a ton of customers" on the East Coast, the company announced Tuesday.
“We're working non-stop to get this matter resolved as soon as possible,” Verizon reps wrote on Twitter.
The telecommunications company is the largest wireless provider in the country.
A spokesperson for the company told the Daily News around 9:40 a.m. that service was “now fully restored.” However, reps on Twitter continued to respond that engineers were “working diligently to resolve [the issue].”
Numerous customers pointed out that it’s not just the East Coast affected, but also parts of the South. Verizon has yet to confirm outages elsewhere.
Other customers started to use the hashtag #FixtheVerizonOutage.
Reps on Twitter were responding to issues by the minute as the complaints rolled in.
“Being able to send and receive your text messages is extremely vital to my day as I am sure it is to yours,” one rep wrote to a customer. “I'm saddened to hear that you are having trouble with yours.”
