Tim Tebow had a chance to prove himself in training camp with the New York Mets this season, but he did not do enough to make the major league roster.
The Mets announced on Tuesday that they have reassigned Tebow to their minor league camp as part of their latest round of cuts. Tebow, who went just 4-for-15 in Grapefruit League play, will begin the season with Triple-A Syracuse.
